4 Effective Uses of Your Brand Logo

Your brand's logo can be one of your most powerful assets. After all, it is going to be a distinguishable feature for your brand: how people identify you and what you represent as a company.

So once you have created the perfect brand logo, what next? How and where do you use it for maximum impact? Luckily, there are various uses for your brand logo that can help you get your name out there and in front of the masses both digitally and in real life.

Website and social media

Your website and social media accounts will benefit from correctly sized and formatted logos adorning your pages. Placing your logo on the left-hand side of your website is the most common design placement, and research has shown this is the most effective; however, there are 14 areas on your website to place your logo.

Your logo on social media needs to be resized correctly, as each platform has different size requirements for images on profile pages and thumbnails. So pay attention to the required sizes and use your logo on your brand pages so users know it's you they are visiting.

Packaging

This can be the packaging you use for boxing products and deliveries, or it can be branding the product's packaging, i.e., soup containers, milk cartons, and so on, but essentially your logo needs to be in an eye-catching position.

Brands tend to use their logo at the top of the packaging as this is where it is more impactful, and this is where customers have come to expect to see branding when buying items.

Whether you're working with folding carton manufacturers near me or suppliers for postage packaging needs, place your brand logo at the top or front and center for the most impact and to make sure customers know exactly who your brand is.

Clothing

If you sell clothing in the retail market or you are just designing employee uniforms, you need to add your logo. All of the major sports brands include their logo or messaging on their products; think Nike and Adidas, who do it successfully.

Typically, employers tend to put their logo on the front of the uniform in the top left-hand corner or emblazoned it on the back for eye-catching placement ideas to make the staff more noticeable to customers and create a cohesive design that flows with other company-branded items.

Vehicles

If you have company vehicles or you want an added marketing avenue to look into, your logo on the side of cars, vans, or trucks can be an effective marketing tool. Depending on your logo's style, you can add it to the doors or rear of the vehicle or do a complete wrap of the whole car so your logo is as visible as possible. This way, when your vehicle or the driver of the vehicle you are using has your logo on (you can sponsor drivers to add your company logo to their personal vehicle if you wish), it will be seen by anyone the car passes by when on the road.

Creating the perfect logo for your company is only part of the challenge when it comes to your branding. Using the logo effectively can help you create interest and become part of your passive marketing approach, too.
